What “No Hidden Charges” Actually Means

Many tradespeople advertise a low call-out rate, then add charges for travel time, the first 30 minutes of labour, evening premiums, or “consumables” once the job is underway. We do not operate this way.

When you call us, we will discuss the likely fault and give you an honest estimate over the phone. When the engineer arrives, they diagnose the problem and give you a fixed written quote for the complete job — parts and labour included. You decide whether to proceed.

If you choose not to go ahead, you will not be charged. If the job turns out to be more complex once work is underway, we will stop and discuss before proceeding — we never increase a quoted price without your approval.

Common Questions About Our Pricing

Is there a call-out fee?+
No. We do not charge a call-out fee. You pay only for the diagnostic visit and any agreed repair work. There are no additional fees for evenings, weekends or bank holidays.
Do you charge more at night or on weekends?+
No. Our pricing is identical at all hours and on all days of the year — including Christmas Day and bank holidays. The price we quote is the price you pay, regardless of when the job takes place.
What if parts are needed — are they included?+
Parts are quoted separately and always disclosed before fitting. We will tell you exactly what part is needed, what it costs, and get your approval before ordering or fitting anything. We carry many common parts on our vans for same-visit repairs.
What if I decline the quote?+
You are under no obligation. If you receive a quote and decide not to proceed, there is no charge. We believe in giving you all the information you need to make an informed decision.
